Tayvona with better mobility

Hi, my name is Tayvona and I am fundraising to purchase a special power wheelchair that I need because my left leg is completely paralyzed. It is right now yet to be determined what the exact cause of the paralysis is, but it is an ongoing chronic condition that I have fought with off and on since 2010. This is the seventh episode that I have had the paralysis in either one or both of my legs and the length of time that it remains paralyzed is also random. During this time, my leg is completely unable to move, shrinking in diameter and aching 24/7. I also have COPD, so I stay exhausted trying to move around in pain on crutches every day. In spite of everything however, I still have very good upper body strength and I am able to still work my arms, which I want to continue to do. This is one of the main reasons why I need this particular wheelchair. It is dual functional-that means it can work as a regular manual wheelchair, or I can switch it over to use power if I am having a particularly difficult day. This wheelchair is also a safe peace of mind in the unfortunate event that I cannot use the power function-I will not be stranded because I can also use it manually.

But for whatever reason, there are only a few of these wheelchair models in production and the one that I found (or any other like it) is not covered by my insurance.

I am very prayerful and trying to remain hopeful about any medical treatment that can help me once they figure out what is going on. But until then, I must survive and do all I can to help myself. But I cannot do it alone. Will you help me get the wheelchair that I need to have better mobility?
