Never in our lifetime do we think of asking for help! Why? Because that's my job. I AM the HELP!
Today; Now; Tomorrow; and forever....
" It's okay to need help and ask for it. Good leaders know that asking for help is not a sign of weakness, but rather a sign of strength. In fact, when leaders can't admit and accept their weaknesses, that lack of humility actually becomes an obstacle, which hinders progress and success"
As it's never an easy topic to talk about, our family is reaching out asking for any support you'd like to offer. Tayton needs an incredible amount right now; Emotionally, physically, mentally, and unfortunately financially. This is going to be a VERY long road ahead for him.
Tayton is 19yrs young. If you have had the pleasure of meeting him, or even hearing about him in conversation, you know that his drive & motivation to be a hard worker is very prominent and he shows no slack. He has worked very hard to reach his goals & has proven he will never give up. He also has the biggest heart of anyone I've met. Tayton is my HERO! He has always put EVERYONE else in front of himself or his own needs. The best Son, Grandson, Nephew, Cousin, Friend, co-worker and support system for anyone who needed him.
On April 11th, Tayton was on his his way home from work when a very unfortunate event took place. He was involved a horrific motorcycle accident that led him to be airlifted to Albany Medical Center. Tayton has sustained 5 breaks, 3 fractures, bruised lungs, lacerations to both kidneys, his femur & pelvis are broken, his sacrum has shifted and the most unfortunate, his lower left leg had to be amputated.
Tayton is undergoing several surgeries- currently his Second as I type. He will be hospitalized for some time. After this long road he will need multiple avenues of therapy.
This is very unimaginable and hard to accept. Still in shock and questioning WHY? BUT; we must continue to guide him in moving forward. Tayton has a BIG family and mental support system.
We're asking you to please join us. He needs every ounce of help right now.
Our family appreciates every one of you who has reached out, said a prayer for him, or helped with a kind donation. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
True power comes from thinking what we want to think, regardless of how things appear or what other people say or how impossible our ideas and dreams may seem. Our thoughts are what lead the charge through these obstacles, doubts, and dark nights of the soul that are standing between where we find ourselves now and where we're headed!
Thank you all for every last thought, prayer and caring support.
We can't thank you enough.
