Taylorville Tornado Relief: Cherri McCullough

Donation protected
Cherri McCullough is a longtime resident on the 2000 block of Houston Street, which was one of the hardest hit neighborhoods by the December 1st tornado. She was home at the time the Tornado struck which leveled her barn, garage and home trapping her inside. Her selfless and wonderful neighbors were able to hear her calls for help under the rubble and assist in getting her out of the debris and to Taylorville Memorial Hospital. She was later transferred to Springfield Memorial Hospital where she is still recovering to this day from the many contusions, cuts, and broken bones she received.

Cherri has dedicated her life to helping others: as an elementary teacher at South School, serving as a Paramedic in Taylorville, as a living organ donor where she donated a kidney to a friend, and also to her many other countless friends whenever the need arose both 2 and 4 legged.

Cherri has never been the type of person to ask for anything, but the need has arisen and along with the blessing of her family I am asking for those friends both old and new, near and far to band together to help her out in her time of need. The funds being raised here will go directly to Cherri to help alleviate any future financial burdens that she now faces because of this natural disaster.

A monetary donation of any kind would be extremely helpful and greatly appreciated to help Cherri on her path to recovery. God Bless.
