My name is Patty Clifford, I have raised my 2 grandkids since they were baby's. On Friday, August 15th my granddaughter, Taylor, who is now 17 and a senior in high school, was on her way home from school when she saw smoke coming from the hood of her truck. She was able to quickly pull off of the road into a parking lot to see what was wrong, when she open her hood the truck was on fire. Thankfully she was out of the truck and no one was harmed, but the truck caught fire so quickly that nothing could be salvaged by the time the fire department arrived. She lost some of her belongings and has to pay $1,000.00 deductible on top of trying to find a dependable vehicle to last through her college years.
