Taylors to Honduras

The Taylors are taking a leap of faith and following God's calling to travel to Honduras as a family with a team from Zion Lutheran Church.  We are scheduled to  leave May 24, 2019 to serve the community of Tocoa and Open Door Ministries.  They serve about 75 children in their orphanage.  Most of these children have been rescued from the sex trade industry there. Much of our time will be spent encouraging and building relationships with these children.   We will also be serving at 2 feeding stations and the local hospital.  As our kids grow older, we know the timing for all of us to participate together on a mission trip is a challenge, but as we are lead to step out in faith now, we pray that as we serve, God will grow our faith and strengthen our family.  

We have purchased our plane tickets!  We praise God for the resources to get this far!  We are seeking your help with food, lodging, and ground transportation while we are in Honduras.  The cost for these items will be about $110/day for each person.  Any money raised over and above our goal will go directly to supporting Open Door Ministries.
