I started this page for my long time friend of 25 years, Austin Taylor. He’s like a brother to me. He’s a single father who has been on a challenging medical roller coaster for many years, forcing him to leave his career and incur unsurmountable medical expenses. I want to help. Any fund’s raised will go to taking care of medical bills, rent and he and his daughter. His medical journey began in 2007 when he felt something was wrong. Doctors concluded his hormone levels were low but didn’t receive treatment for it until 2012. In 2016 he was diagnosed with a benign pituitary tumor, later in 2020, with hypothalamic disease, all which shut down his hormonal system. In 2008 he sustained a spinal cord injury with multiple others throughout the years. In 2021 they found multiple herniated disc’s, causing severe spinal cord compression in the cervical and thoracic spine. Most recently he was diagnosed with cervical stenosis, thoracic stenosis, lumbar disc disease and a new benign tumor in his pelvis/ femur, causing unbearable pain and debilitation. While doctors continue to work to address these and other areas, he battles to manage every day life. He had to leave his current job due to his physical limitations, presently seeking new employment and is trying to get disability. He is struggling to provide for his daughter. Even with the help of family and friends, it’s not enough to cover the growing medical expenses and rent.  I am asking for your help in supporting he and his daughter during this time.
