Taylor's Bench: A Memorial to Commemorate Service

Hi, my name is Trivius Caldwell and I am organizing this fundraiser to commemorate the service of military veterans who served their country honorably. After military retirement, they dedicated their time to teaching, coaching, and mentoring students in the Junior Officer Training Corps (JROTC) in the Atlanta Public School (APS) System.

Your contribution will allow the purchase and placement of a granite bench at a site to be determined. The bench will be dedicated to MSG (ret.) Walter Taylor, a Vietnam veteran of 28 years and a JROTC instructor of 12 years. The bench also commemorates the tireless efforts of JROTC cadre who ensured the success and nurture of their students. This will be engraved and prominently displayed.

These instructors often go unnoticed, so I hope you consider donating to this effort to commemorate their service. Additional funds in excess of the cost of the bench will be gifted to the cadet appointed as Cadet Colonel, otherwise known as a Distinguished Graduate across the APS.
