Hi, my name is Chelsea. I am a sister of Taylor‘s and an Aunt to Everly, 6 and Reid, 3. While in Florida, on April 6th celebrating Reid‘s 3rd birthday my sister was the victim of domestic violence, to the point where she was severely abused and knocked completely unconscious in front of her children.

 

She suffered a Traumatic brain injury, swelling in her brain, three brain bleeds, a perforated eardrum, fractured orbital socket, fractured skull, bleeding from her ears, all confirmed by CT scans and X-rays. She has been hospitalized for 3 days so far and is experiencing a great deal of pain.

 

She will be needing help due to extended time off work from the University of Michigan as an ER nurse along with medical expenses, household expenses, and possible legal fees .

 

My sister will have a slow recovery physically, mentally and emotionally, as will her children. This man only spent 24 hours in jail before his family bailed him out once again because this isn’t the first time he has laid hands on a woman he claims to care for and abused her so badly she ended up in serious condition in the hospital.
