Taylor Law's Debut Album

To those who may not know me, my name is Taylor Law. I'm a musician living in New Orleans, Louisiana. I'm beyond excited to finally share my debut album with you, which blends indie, fusion, and metalcore influences to create a unique sound that I hope will resonate with you. I’ve spent the last 7 years playing and writing with musicians from various genres, honing my skills, and transforming the music in my head into something real.

I’ve poured everything I have into writing and producing this album. There have been many times where I've stayed up late obsessing over every detail, annoying my partner with the same 30-second section repeating over and over (oops). But now I want to ensure that the next steps are done right. As an independent artist, early in my career and facing a challenging economy, it's not easy to cover the recording and production costs alone. That's why I'm reaching out to my friends, family, and anyone else who comes across this campaign to ask for your support.

My goal is to raise $5,000 to cover the costs of recording, mixing, and mastering, album art, and a music video.

These costs include:

Studio time: $2,500

Visuals: $2,000

Miscellaneous Expenses: $500

This album is not just about me. It's about using my music to help those in need. I’ll be donating 50% of all album sales, ad revenue, and streaming royalties made off of this project to pediatric cancer research and families affected by this disease. I know the devastating effects cancer has on families, I saw them first hand when I was going through my own non-hodgkin’s lymphoma treatment. I am forever grateful for the emotional, financial, and physical support I received during that time, and I want to pay it forward. The outpouring of community care and financial support I received during this time is one of the reasons I’m still here and able to make music today. Your contribution to this campaign will not only help me achieve my lifelong dream of making music, but also make a tangible impact on the lives of those affected by cancer.

In addition to 50% of all streaming royalties, ad revenue, and sales made off of this project, I’ve set up additional rewards for donating.
