We, Taylor Kortes' family, are creating this to plead for assistance and prayers for this tragedy. I, his mom, came out here, to California, to visit. While I've been here Taylor was in a horrific work related accident, along with his friend Johnathan Darcy, & another young man they had just met. Taylor took the brunt of the crash. The truck was top heavy & couldn't take the curve of the exit ramp and plunged 60 feet from the over pass to the ground. Taylor suffered broken hips, pelvis, many ribs, shoulder, punctured lungs, air pockets in lung wall lining requiring a chest port, DVT in left arm, broken ocular bone and finally bleeding on the brain requiring 2 craniotomy's, one of those surgeries due to multiple strokes and he is on life support and a breathing machine. We do know that God's miracles come in God's time and now it is just the waiting that we must endure.
The money goal amount on this is high, we know. But there are above & beyond expenses that come from a tragedy like this, along with the possible likely move & transferring back to GA. If you know our son, you know him to be our gentle giant, charming, giving, loyal to a fault, fun, charismatic, creative and SO looking forward to living his life to the fullest, as anyone would. We, his family will be there every step of the way. The future is very uncertain. We ask you to share this over and over. Gather your prayer warriors, encourage healing prayers, for God to show Taylor His great power so he can share that with the world. All his life he's been told, along with his sister, 'Remember Who You Are'. He knows he is a child of God.
