Taylor Chavez’s Medical Fund

Donation protected
On July 4th around 12:30 am, Taylor Chavez aged 19 was struck by a drunk driver running a red light. He was pinned in the vehicle for about two hours before they could get him to the hospital. He had bleeding on the brain and is currently in critical condition.

We are raising money to help support his family in this difficult time by easing the pressure of his medical costs. Anything you can contribute would be greatly appreciated. Please never drink and drive.

Update 7/5/20: The next 72 hours are critical for Taylor. He has been responsive to his medication as well as light and sound. I have updated the name of the fundraiser from funeral fund to medical fund to reflect these changes and be as optimistic as possible Please continue to pray and donate. Taylor is a fighter. We know he can make it. 7/6/20: New updates. His brain has started to swell and if the medication can’t bring it down they’ll have to put him in a medically induced coma 7/7/20: Taylor was put in a medically induced coma this morning to keep his brain from swelling, but since then him numbers have been really good. We don’t know when he will be taken out of the coma but it should give his brain lots of time to heal
