Taylor Barrett College Fund

Today we would like to honor the life and legacy of our dear friend Mentha McNorton.  Mentha was the wife of Tyson Barrett, VSU graduate and member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.  Sadly, Mentha passed away on Sunday, July 26th. The family of Mentha, friends, and fraternity brothers of Tyson would like honor her legacy by setting up a scholarship fund for their daughter, Taylor, in lieu of flowers. We would like to raise funds to help with little Taylor’s future, her education. Education was very important to Mentha, who also matriculated at Valdosta State University, so we are asking anyone who is able to contribute to this fund, please do so. No amount is to small,  no amount is too large. The brothers of Mu Omicron will always hold a special place in our hearts for Mentha, especially the brothers from Fall 1997.  She always had the most amazing energy and was such a joy to be in the presence of. She fought a good fight and will be sorely missed by everyone. We love you Tyson and Taylor and we will always be here for you.
