Taylor and Jordan's Gestational Carrier Journey
Donation protected
After a seemingly endless journey marked by hope and heartbreak, our daughter, Taylor and her husband Jordan are nearing the highest crest of a long, uphill climb. In their dream to have a child, an angel appeared. Though our hearts are overflowing, enormous medical, emotional, and financial challenges lie ahead. So we come to you hoping to ease the most tangible of these challenges: Financial help.
At age 16, Taylor was told she had MRKH Syndrome. She was born without a uterus. Even at such a young age, we knew Taylor was always the maternal one in the family: First to see a baby in a room; first to dote on an infant. It was on that day so long ago, through her tears and heartache after hearing such terrible news, that her journey toward motherhood began.
At first, Taylor tried to move on and enjoy her life no matter the circumstances. But falling in love and finding your soulmate changes everything. Jordan came into her life. Soon they were ready to take on the world as husband and wife. They discovered very quickly that a child … a family … was a longing they could not deny. After three years of soul-searching and investigation, they knew that surrogacy was the answer.
So began the search for an angel.
Surrogacy asks so much from so many: The incredible expertise of medical professionals, unending support of family and friends, understanding from those who cannot fathom a couple’s yearning for something that comes so easily to everyone around them. And it asks the most from that special woman who says, “Yes. I will carry your baby.”
Angie and Chris, we can’t thank you enough. The love, the commitment, and sacrifice you are making can never be repaid.
In February, the process that began so long ago will commence. We pray within nine months, with God’s help, and the support of those so close to them, Taylor and Jordan’s dream will come true.
Which leaves one final, difficult piece to complete the puzzle. Asking for your financial help. Surrogacy is overwhelmingly expensive. Fees, tests, legal costs, and a myriad of medical expenses are involved. Health insurance doesn’t cover the costs. So we are asking for your help, after years of struggle and stress — to alleviate just some of the financial burden Taylor and Jordan face. It would be a gift that would allow Taylor and Jordan to finally reach the top of the mountain they’ve been climbing for so long.
Please give whatever you can, and just as important, spread the word to all of your friends on social media. With all our hearts, thank you.
