Firstly I want to thank everyone who has supported our past fundraising efforts, your contributions have not gone unnoticed, thank you for your support xo

However, It’s with a heavy heart I ask once again if you would support our cause?
This time I’m asking you to help me, help my beautiful daughter Taylah Clive (Mitchell) live life to the fullest while being diagnosed with Low grade Serous endocarcinoma stage 3C Ovarian Cancer and I need your help!
Her life expectancy is 2-5 years at best, and that scares the hell out of me!!!
She is about to start her second cycle of chemo treatment over the next 6 months, which is not expected to have great results but it’s worth a try right?

Taylah would like to take a trip to New Zealand to see where her husband Brody was born and meet more of his family. I would really like to make this happen, but need your help!
I struggle with the idea of a go fund me as it’s not something I would normally do but as her mum which I’m sure many of you can relate, I will do anything to see my daughter live her best life, to smile, laugh and enjoy all the world has to offer!

History
The short story……
2019 Taylah was diagnosed with a rare form of Ovarian Cancer at the age of 23. Taylah has always longed to be a mother, but due to the surgery she received a full hysterectomy, sending her into early menopause making it impossible for her to have a little family of her own. It was heartbreaking to watch her go through this loss and, then to loose her younger brother in the same year due to mental health issues. RIP our beautiful boy.

The surgeons took some of her large bowel resulting in a ileostomy (poo bag), removal of tumours, appendix, omentum and a portion her diaphragm. She then received 6 months of chemotherapy with loss of hair, energy, with neuropathy and ongoing pain. Then to be on hormone therapy for the rest of her life to slow beast down with its own set of horrid side affect.

2021 Despite all this she married a wonderful young man, Brody who has supported and loved her through everything although it hasn’t been easy.
She later had ileostomy reversal surgery (goodbye poo bag!) however, this hasn’t stopped her getting out and about making the most of what she has amongst the grief with a positive can do attitude. You go girl x

2022 After her original surgery we were told the monster was back with her first reoccurrence.

2023 Tay had surgery in the new year to remove the tumours and have a stomach hernia repaired resulting in another 8hrs+ surgery. During this time Taylah became an aunty but wasn’t able to meet him straight away due to a long stay in hospital with various complications in recovery (that’s another story).

Unfortunately later in the year Tay was faced with a second reoccurrence with tumours in her pelvis, on her bowel, tailbone and a large tumour in the wall of her stomach muscle. Surgery was planned once again going into the new year!

2024 Surgeons weren’t able to take all of the cancer as it would majorly affect her quality of life. She somehow dodged stomach mesh and a permanent colostomy (new poo bag) but thanks to the surgical team for taking the extra time and care during her latest surgery this was avoided. Going forward options are limited but chemotherapy has been offered again however, due to the type of cancer which is chemo resistant it’s likely not to work. But we remain positive.

The future
Family and friends have asked how they can help, so with a heavy heart I ask for your help so I can see my baby smile and enjoy life completing some of her bucket list, it would mean the world to me.
With your generous contributions big or small, my wish is to give Tay and Brody the chance to create precious memories together and to financially support them during treatment.
