Tayden Johns Wheelchair Fund

I would like for you to meet Tayden John he is 9 years old. He was born 3 months premature and was in NICU for 4 months. When Tayden was 1 we could tell something was wrong with him.  He was unable to hold is head up, sit-up, or walk. We took him to a specialist and found out a week after his first birthday he has Cerebral Palsy. That is where our beautiful journey began. Tayden has had to have 10 life threatening surgeries and has quite a few more ahead of him.  To add to his not so great out look on life, he was dignosed with Dystonia at 5.  
         We have always tried to raise him as if he is no different then any other  healthy 9 year old boy. He attends our local elementary school, where he is in his wheelchair for at least 8 hours a day. There and at home he has NO other seating besides the wheelchair.  Tayden has NOT received a new wheelchair for 5 years! He out grew his wheelchair a few years ago.  We have had a never ending battle with his insurance company to try to get him a new one. His chair leaves horrible impression marks on hips, butt, and legs. Tayden also gets impression marks on his elbows and sides from  the wheelchair not being big enough.   Due to the improper size of his wheelchair it doesn't allow him to maintain proper body alignment. Which is also adding in the development of Scoliosis.  Each and everyday is a on going struggle for Tayden.
