Tayah needs our help

Our friends Mel & Regan really need our help.

MEL 
As you know Mel has been bravely fighting NF2 for many years. NF2 is an extremely rare genetic condition resulting in tumours
of the nerves that transmit balance and sound impulses from the inner ears to the brain.

Mel has lost most of her hearing and has continual problems with balance, headaches, dizziness and pain.
Mel requires regular ongoing medication and treatments, having undergone numerous surgeries and likely requiring more in the future.

The effects of Mel’s NF2 have been profound on the family, not only financially (medications and extended carers leave for her husband)
but also adapting to her changing health conditions. Mel and her family have displayed resilience throughout all the challenges that they
have faced.

TAYAH
This month they received the devastating news that their beautiful young daughter has Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL).
Tayah faces a long road ahead with a treatment plan likely to span the next 2 ½ years, including extensive chemotherapy.

HOW WE CAN HELP
Mel and Reagan need our help. Like many others, Mel and Regan's family have suffered financially with COVID-19.
They now not only have the added expenses of medical treatments for Mel but also Tayah.

To compound matters they have additional transport expenses with daily trips to the hospital and loss of income when Regan needs to
care for Mel, Tayah and their two young boys.

It is going to be a long road ahead for this family and we want to raise $5000 to take some of the financial burden away so they can
concentrate on Tayah’s needs.
