Passed Away 2 Weeks After Wedding
Donation protected
On August 28, 2020, Landon Larkin gave his heart to Taya Gamble as they shared their wedding vows in front of friends and family. They were looking forward to a long life together. Driving home from their honeymoon, they were in a dangerous accident totaling their car and landing them in the hospital. Landon and Taya were injured and left unable to work. Through extreme stress and the uncertainty of the financial impact, Landon told his grandpa, “A car can be replaced, but I can’t replace my Taya.” As a Type I Diabetic for the last 10 years, a week after the accident and only two weeks after the wedding, 23-year-old Landon began feeling unwell and was back in the Emergency Room. After several tests, the doctors sent him home. Landon continued to feel ill that evening and into the next morning. Taya reached out to her mom concerned about Landon and his diabetes. Taya always made sure Landon was watching his blood sugar by asking him to monitor his levels and dose himself accordingly. As they both fell asleep on separate couches that late morning, Taya didn’t know this would be the last time she would be able to see her true love alive. Landon was unable to be revived. What a heartbreaking ending to a beautiful beginning just two weeks prior. Please help us ease the financial burden as they paid for a wedding, have the expenses of the car accident and medical bills, and are now planning and paying for a funeral. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to share this with others.
