Tay Needs A Car

Hi friends. For Christmas 2021, as many of you know, I bought Tay a vehicle. After all she’s been through on her cancer journey, I wanted to give this to her. As a single mom, funds were limited, I took out a loan and found a private buyer. Unfortunately, within a month, the car started breaking down. We have limped it along until 2 weeks ago when the brakes went out. We spoke with a mechanic today and he was brutally honest and told us the car needs more work than what it’s worth.

Quite simply, Tay needs a car and I really need help in getting her one. I am working 60-70 hours a week but without a penny of child support, I can only do so much. I now have 4 kids to get back and forth to 4 different schools, take Tay to and from work, and take two others to sports 4 days a week all while trying to maintain my job. I haven’t even had my car since before Thanksgiving. It is being worked on and I’m getting the run around on it so I am driving everyone around in a very small hatchback. Her having a car alleviated a lot of pressure. She was able to drive herself, she helped run errands, and it took a lot of stress off of me.
