Aiutatemi a diventare tassista indipendente a 63 anni

Mi chiamo Ruggero, ho 63 anni e lavoro come tassista da 19 mesi ma non ho mai potuto farlo con mezzi miei.

Oggi ho finalmente l’occasione di diventare indipendente, ma da solo non ce la faccio.

E soprattutto, ho tempo solo fino al 1 settembre per riuscirci.

La mia storia

Attualmente lavoro affittando sia la licenza che l’auto da un privato.

Questa persona ha però deciso di vendere tutto: e io, se non riesco a comprarla, perderò il mio unico lavoro.

Alla mia età è quasi impossibile trovare qualcuno disposto ad affittare una licenza taxi.

Per fortuna, ho vinto un bando del Comune che mi dà il diritto di acquistare una licenza taxi a prezzo agevolato.

Purtroppo, a causa del mio passato di piccolo imprenditore fallito, le banche non mi concedono alcun finanziamento.

Ogni euro donato servirà a mantenere il mio lavoro, vivere dignitosamente e ripagare il mio passato con onestà.

Perché è così importante

Dopo il fallimento della mia attività in passato — dovuto a circostanze più grandi di me — mi sono trovato a ripartire da zero.

Ho sempre lavorato onestamente, anche nei momenti peggiori.

Oggi ho davanti una possibilità concreta, e chiedo solo una mano per non perderla.

Questo lavoro non è solo il mio presente: è anche l’unico modo che ho per chiudere il mio passato con dignità e guardare avanti.

Se non riesco a raccogliere questi fondi entro il 1 settembre, perderò licenza, auto e ogni possibilità concreta di continuare a lavorare.

E a quel punto, non so più cosa potrei fare.

Il mio impegno: restituire il bene ricevuto

Se grazie a voi riuscirò a realizzare questo sogno, vi prometto una cosa:

quando un giorno smetterò di lavorare come tassista, regalerò la licenza a qualcuno che si trova nella mia stessa situazione.

Perché chi riceve solidarietà, ha il dovere morale di restituirla.

Cosa succede se non raggiungo l’obiettivo

Nel caso in cui non riuscissi a raggiungere la somma necessaria entro il 1 settembre, mi impegno a contattare ogni donatore per offrire la restituzione dell’importo ricevuto, al netto delle commissioni trattenute dalla piattaforma (2,9% + €0,25 per donazione).

In alternativa, se il totale raccolto non sarà sufficiente per acquistare la licenza e l’auto, userò i fondi in modo trasparente per avviare comunque un’attività lavorativa onesta nel settore della mobilità o dei servizi, rendendo conto pubblicamente di ogni euro speso.

Help Me Become an Independent Taxi Driver at 63

My name is Ruggero, I’m 63 years old, and I’ve been working as a taxi driver for years… but I’ve never had the chance to do it with my own vehicle.

Today, I finally have the opportunity to become independent, but I can’t do it alone.

And most importantly, I only have until September 1st to make it happen.

My Story

Currently, I rent both the taxi license and the vehicle from a private individual.

However, this person has now decided to sell everything—and if I can’t buy it, I’ll lose my only job.

At my age, it’s almost impossible to find someone willing to rent out a taxi license.

Luckily, I won a municipal grant that gives me the right to purchase a taxi license at a reduced price.

Unfortunately, because of my past as a failed small business owner, no bank will grant me a loan.

What I’m Trying to Do

I need your help to raise:

- €96,500 to purchase the taxi license

- €26,550 for the required vehicle (a hybrid, as per regulations)

Every euro donated will help me keep my job, live with dignity, and honestly make amends for my past.

Why This Matters So Much

After my business failed—due to circumstances beyond my control—I had to start from scratch.

I’ve always worked honestly, even in the hardest times.

Now I have a real chance in front of me, and I’m simply asking for a hand not to lose it.

This job isn’t just my present: it’s also the only way I can close my past with dignity and look ahead.

If I don’t raise these funds by September 1st, I’ll lose the license, the car, and any real possibility of continuing to work.

And at that point, I truly don’t know what I would do.

My Commitment: Giving Back the Good I Receive

If, thanks to you, I manage to make this dream come true, I promise you this:

when I eventually stop working as a taxi driver, I will gift the license to someone else in the same situation I’m in now.

Because anyone who receives solidarity has the moral duty to give it back.

What Happens If I Don’t Reach the Goal

If I don’t reach the required amount by September 1st, I will contact every donor to offer a refund of the amount received, minus the platform fees (2.9% + €0.25 per donation).

Alternatively, if the total raised is not enough to purchase both the license and the car, I will transparently use the funds to start a different honest business in the mobility or services sector, publicly accounting for every euro spent.
