Thursday, July 11th cab driver, Ernie Greenlee, was attacked by a crazed manic who was released from prison earlier that day for murder. Ernie was beaten, as he tried to escape the cab his leg became entangled in the seatbelt and the attacker proceeded to drag him down the street. By the grace of God, the seatbelt released letting Ernest fall into the street as the attacker fled in Greenlee’s cab. Because of the attack Ernie has lost sleep, he has lost days of work, and he is now suffering from severe anxiety. This experience has been very traumatic, one that will take time for Ernie to overcome.
