My name is Robert Chancey. I wait tables in Chico. It is a blessed life, but occasionally money can be tight. I am tossing away my pride, and asking faraway friends for help with my California tax bill. I currently owe, $1,746 in taxes and fees to the state of California. Currently, I am paying the Franchise Tax Board $100 a month to reduce this debt. Last month I missed two weeks of work to COVID, and I am feeling financially insecure.
