I’m raising funds for my sweet dog, Abby, who needs surgery to remove her right hind leg after being diagnosed with Mast Cell Tumor (MCT) — a form of aggressive cancer.

Abby has been my constant companion since college. I adopted her right after moving out of the dorms into my first apartment — not the wisest decision for a college kid, but without a doubt the best one I ever made. She’s been with me through every chapter of my life since then and I honestly can’t imagine my world without her.

At 11 years old, Abby is still so full of love, energy, and personality. Unfortunately, her tumor has come back even after surgery and multiple rounds of chemo. Our only remaining option now is to amputate her hind leg to stop the cancer from spreading and give her the best chance at a happy, pain-free life.

Her oncology vet from Austin Veterinary Emergency and Specialty quoted me $6,000 for this amputation.
