My name is, Ashley Wild. I am writing this on behalf of my cousin, Tawnya McCoy. On Wednesday August 9, 2023 at approximately 3:00PM the very unthinkable happened. Our amazing and beautiful angel here on earth experienced a stroke which was now discovered to be caused by, a brain bleed. She was taken by ambulance immediately to the hospital where she has been undergoing countless tests, scans, and procedures. The entire left side of her body has went completely paralyzed from the stroke. Surgery will be this late this afternoon to determine the damage, cause and the next steps. The road to recovery is going to be long and challenging, and still so many things to figure out.

I write this today on behalf of, someone who is quite literally the most selfless human I have had the privilege of knowing my whole life. She puts her children and family before anything and everything. She has been someone I can say whole heartedly has been a pivotal role model for my family, friends, and her entire trademark in the dance industry. Anyone that knows Tawnya knows the shirt off her back would go the very person in need no questions asked.
