MESSAGE FROM KATIE - Update from July 3rd, 2020
   
"The Sheriff's located Tawfic on July 2nd.  Unfortunately, he will not be coming home to us but will be laid to rest in a better place.  We are very heartbroken but at peace knowing that we have resolution and are very grateful for everyone's support during this difficult time.  More information will be shared once more is known and arrangements have been made.  Thank you again for all of your love and support - The Rashid Family"


On Friday, June 26, Tawfic Rashid went fishing at Camp Far West Reservoir on his family fishing boat.  Tawfic has not been heard from since.  A missing person report was filed.  Saturday morning his truck was found in the parking lot of the Reservoir and the boat was found idling in the middle of the lake without Tawfic.   The local sheriff has done an air search of the surrounding area and he was not located.  They continue to search the surrounding area and lake.

Katie and their three children, Autumn (10), Noah (8)and Jacob (1) are holding out hope for a resolution soon.  In the meantime, there will be a lot of unexpected expenses for Katie and the kids.  Tawfic is retired from the Army, employed as a prison guard, and loves the outdoors.  He enjoys fishing and spending time with his kids and wife.

Any little donation will help so that the family can focus on finding Tawfic and getting back on their feet.  Please say a prayer that Tawfic's family has some resolution soon.
