As many of you know, Kathy O'Connell was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer over 5 1/2 years ago. She was given approximately 5-8 months to live and decided to fight with everything she had in order to see her grandchildren grow. She underwent countless rounds of chemotherapy, as well as lung and brain radiation. Kathy has beaten all of the odds given to her over the years by medical professionals.
Over the past 6 months, Kathy spent considerable time in hospitals and rehab centers. She continues to fight, but now requires 24 hour, live-in medical care, which is not covered by insurance.
Those of you who know Kathy know she would do anything for anyone. We are generally not comfortable asking for help, but are asking for donations during this difficult time. Your donations will help with the cost of keeping Kathy safe and comfortable at home with her beloved dog, Ozzie. Any amount you can give is greatly appreciated!
