Tawanna Green's Celebration of Life

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of our mother, Tawanna Green. She passed away peacefully on June 20, 2023, at the age of 71. Our mother was a bright spark in this world and will be deeply missed. Throughout her life, our mom was a vivacious, joyful soul. She had many cheerful pursuits beyond her family, including singing, dancing, acting, composing poetry, and charity work. She was also a devout Christian who loved sharing her faith through performance, creativity, and conversation. She also served her community as an employee of Los Angeles County for over 32 years. All these pursuits allowed her to have a wide variety of interactions with so many who may share our grief at her passing.

Many of you have asked us how you can help or where you can make a donation, and we have set this up for that purpose. We are using this platform as a convenient way for those who would like to donate something to be able to do so. For those who are more comfortable donating in person, you may do so at her service or with any of the Green Brothers. Any donation is greatly appreciated.

We are so grateful for everyone who has expressed their concern and thoughtfulness to our family at this time. We continue to be humbled and inspired by the outpouring of love we have experienced thus far. It has been such a blessing which has helped to uplift our family and is a true testament to the impactful life our mother led.
