A close friend of ours, Maya Brown, and her family, lost their apartment and their material things in a fire, that happened during the recent outbreak of violence in Baltimore City. Although Maya has suffered a great loss, her main concern was her dance troupe concert, which is this Saturday, May 2nd. Maya is always thinking of others. She is a sweet and loving young woman. She is graduating from Mercy High School in June and is planning on attending Hampton University in the fall. Maya has a big heart and would do anything to help her friends.
