Hello everyone! My name is Vivian Hampton. I am the grandmother of a very talented young man named Tavyion. Tavyion is 12 years old and has been singing ever since he was able to walk and talk. Tavyion is also an actor. He has performed in numerous plays with different organizations in our community and neighboring towns. My grandson has been blessed to be connected with an agency that will give him the proper training and mentoring to help him take his career to higher heights.
As most of you may know, nothing is free. From startup fees to traveling expenses, it's going to cost. The purpose of this GoFundMe is to ask for help with the expenses. Tavyion would be taking classes in acting and singing. Since he is very talented, he may be instructed to take classes for modeling or dancing as well. Some of the classes are currently via Zoom and in person. Below is a sample of a breakdown for what some of the costs may be.

Acting Classes: Group classes for children often range from $100 to $300 per month. Private coaching is more expensive, potentially $50-$200 per hour.
Singing Lessons: Private lessons typically cost between $50 and $100 per hour. Group options are more affordable, around $20–$50 per class.
Professional Headshots: These are crucial for auditions and can cost around $250 to $500 for a quality session.
Platform/Submission Fees: There are often one-time or recurring fees (e.g., $100–$200) to submit the child's profile to online casting sites.
Materials and Fees: Initial costs might include a registration fee (around $40–$150), sheet music, or specific class materials.
Travel: While not an upfront cost, travel to auditions and classes is an ongoing expense to consider.
As you all can see, it can get pricey as Tavyion progresses in his career. We are asking for donations to help us be better prepared for the changes and challenges to come.
