Tavon's Legacy: Support His Children

On July 7th, our family lost Tavon Adams, in a tragic senseless shooting at his home in Fayetteville, NC. Tavon and his family were home when a unknown person began to throw rocks at their window to get him to come outside to see where the noise was coming from. He was the provider for his mother,grandmother and his 5 children with the 6th child due the next day.

Now, in the space where his presence once filled their home with security and warmth, there is a profound silence. His newborn son will learn his father's name before he learns his face.

His mother and grandmother must navigate a world suddenly without their foundation.

We cannot mend what was broken. But we can gather, as communities have always done, to hold what remains.

The loss of Tavon has deeply impacted his family and community. The funds raised are intended to cover funeral and memorial expenses, with any remaining money going to Tavon's 6 children.
