Hello I’m Christopher Tavarus’ Partner. I have been battling going back and forth on if I should start this fundraiser or not. With Tavarus’ permission he said sure. As you may or may not know November 2019 Tavarus was diagnosed with Oral Cancer. It totally shocked him because it literally came out of nowhere. He went to the dentist for a routine dental cleaning...A week or so later he noticed irritation on the right side of his gum. He went back to the dentist and they did a biopsy of his gum. When the results came back it was cancer. Being the strong person Tavarus is he tried to stay hopeful and not let it get him down. I know at times he was scared, but he continued to pray and be hopeful. He immediately started researching and making contacts to get the ball going on how to attack it. After several attempts to schedule his surgery he finally was able to lock in a date. On January 21, 2020 he endured a 14 hour surgery to remove the cancer. As apart of the surgery half of his jaw had to be removed leaving him without any teeth on his bottom right side.

As he approaches his one year anniversary of having his surgery and being CANCER FREE... (THANK GOD ) a few of his biggest wishes is to be able to eat properly and have his beautiful smile once again!
