Hi, my name is Matthew, and I am Tau's owner. I am raising money for Tau's medical funds totaling about $5800+. My parents are helping me pay for most of it, but I will have to pay them back. I was already declined Care Credit and had to ask my mom to apply instead to help pay for just a portion of the funds. Tau has been put through a lot of stress going to multiple vets for the help he needed but was unable to do much since I do not have funds to drop $2500+ to do a catheter and hospitalize him. Tau has had problems since August 5th. Additionally, have a surgery done on him, which is another $2000. He was put through two catheters and a Perineal Urethrostomy. I changed his diet and monitored him as they said, but nothing changed until August 18th; when I got home, he looked so weak, did not touch his food at all, urinated on my bed with blood, vomited, and just laid in his vomit cause he was so weak. That is when I finally had to give in and go with the hospitalizing him for two days with a catheter and surgery the next day. I did the math for all the vet visits, two catheters, and surgery to be $5867.83.
