Rugby Union is a world game and Olympic Sport. My rugby passion began in 2007, and has only continued to intensify.
In 2012 & 2013 I was selected to play for the USA South team, at the Olympic Training Center, in the National All Star Championship Tournament. My ‘local’ team is a two hour drive away, I travel there weekly for practice and games. I used the skills I’ve acquired to help encourage and coach our local college team, at Florida Gulf Coast University.
Three years ago, I was invited to play with an International team, where I had the opportunity to play amongst World Cup athlete, Tania Rosser. She has recently asked me to join her again on the field. With everyone's support, we competed in Kinsale’s Elite International Rugby 7’s Tournament, taking second, and have been invited on the rest of the tour with that team. Upcoming is Amsterdam 7's and Dubai 7's in December. I have been fortunate to have the support of my work, and family and local teams during my journey. There is not funding for female rugby athletes, and to pursue my dreams, I will need your help.
My goal is to raise funds to help offset my travel and players fees. Any assistance gets me one step closer to my dreams. My want is to continue to grow rugby and continue to pay it forward to other athletes as well.
