Help Baby Tatum Fight for His Life
Hello friends, family, and compassionate strangers,
We are reaching out with heavy hearts to share the story of Lindsay and Elmer's sweet baby boy, Tatum, and to ask for your help as he fights for his life with more strength and bravery than we ever thought possible.
Tatum was born prematurely and entered the world far earlier than his parents had hoped. From the very beginning, his journey has been one of courage and resilience. Shortly after birth, Tatum was diagnosed with critical medial conditions: congenital nephrotic kidney syndrome, tracheomalacia, and sepsis-induced ileus of the bowels, which tragically required the removal of part of his small intestine.
Each of these diagnoses alone is devastating, but together they have created an uphill battle for this little warrior. Tatum has spent every day of his life in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) under constant medical care. He’s undergone multiple surgeries, endured invasive treatments, and continues to face serious complications. Yet through it all, he holds on — fighting with everything he’s got.
His parents, Lindsay and Elmer, are doing everything in their power to be by his side and support him, but the emotional and financial toll is overwhelming. Between the cost of hospital stays, specialized care, medications, time off work, travel expenses, and the uncertainty of what comes next, we are humbly asking for your support.
Every donation — no matter the size — will help us:
Cover Tatum’s ongoing medical expenses
Afford specialized equipment and care he will need at home
Manage basic living expenses while we stay near the hospital
Focus fully on Tatum without the crushing weight of financial stress
If you cannot give financially, please consider sharing this page, keeping Tatum in your prayers, and sending strength to our little fighter. Your love, support, and kindness mean the world to us.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of Tatum’s journey.
With love and gratitude,
Friends and family of the Danleys
