Tatnuck Magnet Girls headed to World Championship

On Saturday, March 9, 2019, a group of five amazing girls from Tatnuck Magnet Elementary School competed in the Southern New England Regional VEX IQ Next Level Championship at Quinsigamond Community College. These girls worked tremendously hard and were awarded the Design Award for the best engineering design notebook. This award also secured these girls an invitation to attend the World Championship event.
The team exemplified overall excellence in creating a well-rounded VEX IQ program. This team excels in many areas and is a shining example of dedication, devotion, hard work, and teamwork. On top of their stellar engineering design notebook, these girls deserve to be recognized for building a quality robot, delivering an effective STEM Research Project presentation, and demonstrating that their team is committed to excellence in everything that they do.
This group of 5 girls has been invited to attend the Vex Robotics World Championship 2019 in Louisville, Kentucky from April 29th to May 1st. In order to travel as a team, we need your assistance in ensuring each child is afforded this remarkable opportunity. Any donations will go towards registration, lodging, transportation, and food expenses for all 5 students. We are hoping to raise the $975 registration fee plus $1000 per student to cover these costs for a total of $5975.
