Tatijana's Fight

In August of this year, Tatijana Cantyne, a 34 year old single mother of 3 young children, scheduled a colonoscopy to address a recurring health issue. Regretfully, she was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon Cancer. She must undergo an extensive treatment regimen with chemotherapy, followed with surgery scheduled over on Oahu to remove a large tumor and lymph node. Follow-up treatment will be required due to the severity of her diagnosis.

As mentioned previously, Tatijana is a single mother of 3 children, ages 4 years thru 14. She had just started working as a Teacher's Aide here at Small World Preschool in August. Tatijana has proven to be a valuable employee and although she is eligible for Temporary Disability benefits, her assistance will be minimal due to the time worked so far.

With that said, We here at Small World want to rally and support her to ease the financial burden that a cancer diagnosis, procedures, and treatments can bring. Funds that are raised will enable and assist her to maintain some normalcy for herself and the daily lives of her 3 young children, along with the costs of insurmountable medical bills.
