Tatiana's Service Dog
Donation protected
I have been searching for a psychiatric service dog for over a year now, but the urgency of the need was made obvious to me recently. I struggle with several different psychiatric disorders, including PTSD, ADHD, panic disorder, and major depression. These are all chronic illnesses, and I take daily medication just to manage the symptoms. However, that isn't enough to give me the quality of life that I want. A service dog would give me independence, and allow me to function at a stable ("normal") level. Some examples of tasks that the dog would be able to perform are panic attack detection, tactile grounding, deep pressure therapy, guidance to a safe place during dissociative episodes, and nightmare interruption. I am working, and I have been saving for this. I do still require financial assistance, though. My family has spent a large amount of money on treatment for me in the past year, and I am hoping that this will help lessen the financial burden. The money that I raise here will help pay for the fee, transport/travel expenses, and initial care. Anything is helpful, and I appreciate all of the prayers that I can get. Thank you so much for reading and sharing!
