Tate's mom, Carmen, is celebrating her birthday on August 5th ...The Big 50! Her only birthday wish is to have people give to this site so that the funds can be donated to the wonderful organizations that played a critical role in Tate's healing.
These include the Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital, Athens-Clark County Police Department (ACCPD), and Georgia Bureau of Investigations (GBI). Words cannot describe the care, compassion, and dedication that they showed in the wake of Tate's shooting.
Tate's Story: On April 22nd Tate Prezzano, a UGA Lacrosse Player was shot twice at a bus stop on his way to school. He spent a week at the hospital and is now recovering at home. He is making miraculous progress, but still has a long recovery ahead. Among the variety of doctors and specialists that he is seeing, he will be working hard to heal with the help of multiple physical and occupational therapy sessions.
