My name is Kate and I’m asking for help in raising money for a breast reduction. I’ve been large breasted most of my life (runs in the family) and I’ve reached a point where I’m experiencing more regular migraines that cause nausea, light and sound sensitivity . I’ve all but lost the curvature in my neck as shown in my Xray below. I need weekly appointments with my chiropractor to put my neck back into place. I’ve had two different consults with plastic surgeons here in the US and both times my insurance denied me. Out of pocket in the US is $18k-$20k for the reduction and lift. I did research and discovered that Turkey is one of the highest rated countries in the world for plastic surgery, specifically Istanbul. I’ve had a full consultation with the MayClinic and I’m trying to raise the cost to have the procedure in their clinic. This amount covers the entire procedure plus accommodation for 8 days, all transportation to/from airport/hospital/hotel, a nurse, checkups, pain medicine, surgical bra, a companion to come with me and breakfast each day. I currently wear a 36G and with this weight on my chest I’m worried what my neck health will be in 1 year let alone 10. Once I reach $1,000 I can set my appointment (this is the deposit price).
