Tasso Time 2024
Donation protected
Tasso Time 2024 will once again bring together members of the Houma Nation and relatives from other southeastern tribes to reclaim a traditional gathering of our people. Traditional crafts and games will be demonstrated and open for attendees to learn. Traditional foods will be served. Speakers of Houma French and the Houma Language Project reclaiming Uma Anũpa will also be present. This is also a time to reconnect with each other as relatives and a community.
(The event is not open to the public but Indigenous attendees are more than welcome to bring non-Native relatives.)
