I adopted Tashi from the San Francisco Animal Care and Control on January 14th, and when I took him to the vet for his initial check-up, they saw that his left front canine is broken in half! Unfortunately, they've determined that it definitely needs to be extracted to prevent infection (not to mention that it is causing him a lot of pain). In addition to the intitial adoption fees, physical exam, and the ear infection and skin problems that we're also working to address, the $1700 quote for the dental work is a major financial hardship. I would deeply appreciate any contributions or shares, and more than anything hoping that Tashi will be feeling healthy and happy again soon!
