Tashena Moore

Hello, I'm Steven Moore and I am raising funds for bills, burial and memorial for my sister who died in her sleep Dec 27, 2023.

She was born in Seattle, Washington on July 16, 1988 to Karla and Alfred Moore. There were thoughts that she wouldn't live past childhood due to multiple birth defects. We went to several places due to dad being in the military, Kaiserslautern and Schweinfurt Germany being two of them. We eventually ended up in Montana. She made many friends. She was a social butterfly in this respect. There were difficult times, like when she had to have a metal rod surgically implanted into her spine. She joined a church and found some solace. She was looking forward to going to college, had the paperwork done and everything. She was going to choose her classes on Jan 7th. She died at the age of 35.

With Christmas done and the end of the year near. We find ourselves coming up short. With her burial and memorial more than we can afford, I ask for help. Not for me, not for my sister who is no longer here, but for my parents who are going through something no parent should ever go through. Outliving their child. A funeral is not for the dead, but for the living, those left behind. I want to give them some closure and safety, even for a little bit.
