- May 28th my sister was rushed to the hospital by ambulance. Since then her life hasn't been the same and her quality of life is decreasing. After several doctor visits, scans, and tests they found that Tasha has Chiari malformation. Basically her brain is too large for her skull and she is needing brain decompression surgery because it is pushing down 13mm onto her spinal cord (causing a long list of awful symptoms). Please know that donations will go towards helping with bills associated with the surgery, child care, and necessities. Recovery will take several weeks and Tasha, her husband and her girls will need all the support they can get. Surgery is currently scheduled for September 23rd. Like myself, this military family has been through a lot over the years and always make it through stronger and better.
