Tasha & Juan - Indie Film ❤️
Donation protected
Hey, Enzo here
This is the first short-film I'm directing here at DePaul University. I am very excited about this project because it is a romance about real people with real struggles that look for true love. A concept that seems so distant when you are on the day-to-day routine, when you don't have a dollar in your bank account or when you've been cheated on in the past.
The truth is: we all deserve love, regardless of how broke you are, how ‘undeserving’ you might think you are or how many times you brush your teeth a day. We deserve better. So even if you are not in a romantic relationship and don’t even want to be in one, Tasha & Juan is a film for you - it is a film about loving and being loved regardless.
We need this financial help to make the project! For me on my own this is a lot of money, but for a collective of people it shouldn't be too heavy, so help us if you can!
It is a simple production, so most of the money is going to be used buy food for the crew over the few days we will be shooting. We are also using the money for production design and applying for festivals later. Once done with all of this I will share how the money was spent.
Disclaimer:
No raffles, sweepstakes, giveaways, or returns on investment are offered in exchange for any donations made to this GoFundMe.
This is the logline/summary:
Tasha and Juan, two young adults, navigate the complexities of love and understanding as they bond over shared moments and silent struggles, discovering that real connection transcends logic and heals.
The short film counts with its original music (by Kevin Reyes Vega) and it’s heavily influenced by RnB, Hip Hop and early 2000's aesthetic.
Shoutout to my producers Owen Miller, Nicolas Kim‼️ Shoutout to my crew ❤️! Shoutout to my hometown São Paulo, BR!
