On 31/03/2025, TASC have dedicated a day of awareness for ambulance staff who are experiencing difficulties and require support for their mental health. Currently there are over 85 ambulance staff awaiting mental health support from TASC, although due to lack of charitable funds this waiting list is sadly growing. Everyone can be affected by mental health challenges at any point in their life due to various reasons and / or experiences - Ambulance staff and pre-hospital clinicians are particularly susceptible. For example, ambulance staff have a 20-21% prevalence of PTSD vs 4-5% in the general population. All contributions will be used to increase the capacity within TASC to provide additional support and reduce waiting lists.
