We are the Moser family in Donnelly, and we're related to a lot of the family that has been affected by the ongoing Tartar wildfire in Weiser, Idaho.
We are bringing over 100 cows to Donnelly that have been displaced by the Tartar fire in Weiser. The cows are coming from a family that has had more than 85 cows that have been burned along with their hay stacks and range ground. We have secured a 140-acre field of grass and a separate 20-acre field; both have been donated, but we need major fence repairs. Fence repairs will be done by August 15th. We also have a 20-acre field of grass that the owner said we can cut and bail but we cannot put cows on it. The money from this fundraiser will pay for fencing materials and feed for these cows. Fencing material will be around $1,700, and the rest will be for cow feed. No money raised will go to labor in any way. We hope to raise enough to feed and rehome these cows for 2-3 months. Thank you, and if you aren't able to donate, please share with your friends and family so we can reach our goal!
