Tarp Fatal Car Accident Fund

Donation protected
This fundraiser will support a young family as they attempt to recover physically and emotionally from an unimaginable tragedy. On Friday, July 17th, Mikey Tarp passed away unexpectedly in a tragic car accident. Michael was a dedicated and loving husband, father, son, brother, friend, mentor, and much more.  Michael leaves behind his loving wife Mara, and their two beautiful children (8 and 2), which were his world. He was the most genuine kind-hearted guy. He was always so understanding, respectful, and helpful. The world is a darker place without his light. He will be missed by all but his memory will live forever.  With all of the emotional pain and stress that a loss like this brings, it also is accompanied by financial burdens. This GoFundMe Campaign will help the Tarps with the impossible financial fallout of this fatal car accident. Your financial gift will help cover funeral costs, medical bills, grief and family counseling, vehicle replacement, daily expenses, and to help wherever needed. Please donate what you can and please forward this GoFundMe page to everyone you know. Let's show this family how much we care about them and support them! I set the goal at $40,00 but I am hoping to surpass it for this amazing family! Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity!! A note from, Bobbi Petersen, a dear friend of the Tarp family: The world has just lost the nicest, most sincere, compassionate person. Our mental health community has lost one of the best. I first met Mikey Lee when Gateway Mental Health and Sue Maurer decided to take a chance on me during a tumultuous period of my past. He was one of my favorite co-workers, colleagues, and friends. I have photographed his family for the past several years. A few days after our annual photography session, Mara let me know that Mike was lost in a tragic car accident. One of the things that has been repeatedly heard in the community is "Mike was just such a great guy" and it's because it's true. There wasn't a bad or vindictive bone in his body. He genuinely cared. He wore his heart on his sleeve. He was just a great guy. My heart goes out to his wife and 2 children. My thoughts and prayers are with them.
