Hi, My name is Sunshine. In case you're new here, I’m here to ask for your help to care for my best friend, Tarneka. This has been an incredibly difficult year for all of us, but it is so much more difficult when you’re living alone and suffering from multiple medical issues. Tarneka is being buried with medical, financial, and life crises that are beyond her control, and she needs help. She needs all of us now more than ever before.

It’s so hard to ask for help, and to share personal details about her health, but her situation is dire and she needs the support, both financial and emotional. Tarneka continues to have extensive health problems. She has had quite a few falls in her apartment recently, though thankfully has not sustained any major injuries yet. Her doctors now suspect that her brain tumor has returned, and she also needs to have a procedure done on her ostomy that will require a hospital stay. Life during a pandemic is stressful to us all, but for someone living alone with chronic and serious health complications, it is devastating on a daily basis.

Her immediate need is $1,000 for medical supplies, medications, and masks that are not covered by medical insurance. She could also use help with affording grocery delivery since she is unable to shop for herself, and affording yarn and a printer to help occupy her days in isolation. She could also use your love and prayers. She told me prayer is at the top of the list.
