A couple of weeks ago, our friend Tarn was admitted to hospital with a type of Leukemia. An aggressive type that if untreated, left her with 3 weeks. At 23 years old, you can imagine this has been more than a shock and something that has taken some time to process.
In the less than 5 years I have known this stunning young lady, she has become a very close friend who I treasure. On more than one occasion, I have had myself in a pickle, and a brief phone call was all it needed, and Tarn was there. Didn’t matter what she was doing, everything was dropped and she came to sort me out.
Anyone who knows Tarn, knows she’s strong, determined and will kick this shit. She’s more fun than many, she cares deeply for anyone. Not just her mates. But that makes her bloody loyal to the ones she loves. It’s our turn to return that loyalty.
With at least the next month in hospital ahead of her, I’d like to help ease the stresses of life. If we can pitch in even just a little to help cover those nasty bills while she’s off, I’m sure it would be eternally appreciated.
