My daughter Tarin has done everything she can to help others, whether it’s a yard sale to help her grandmother pay for a vet bill after her dog got run over or asking people to bring toys to donate to the children’s hospital instead of birthday presents. From the time she was 5 years old she has been doing “Walk for Diabetes” or shaving her head to donate 14 inches of hair to “Locks of Love”, and just a few months before this campaign started she stayed up all night doing “Relay for Life”. Now I would like to give her something. She has an opportunity to go to our nation’s capital, spring break 2017, on an educational tour and actually SEE a massive amount of our history and not just read about it. She would even earn High School credit after she gets back. Unfortunately, I cannot afford to send her on my own, that is why I am asking for your help. I started a Go Fund Me account hoping to get help so this loving, giving, and selfless girl can experience this “once in a lifetime” opportunity. I have listed the sites on the sample itinerary that they will get to experience. She is very excited for the MLK Memorial and, since she read “Anne Frank” when she was 8, the Holocaust Museum.
