Tarek unexpectedly left this world way too early on December 12. We are all still processing this shocking news.
Tarek was my friend for many years, and I miss him dearly.
Tarek's sister, Donna, and brother-in-law, Bill, are handling the memorial and other details. They also just welcomed their first baby, a little girl, in November. Tarek loved his niece Winnie.
I'm hosting this fundraiser to help Donna and Bill as they navigate these muddy waters of saying their final farewells to their brother, as well as raising a new life with their sweet Winnie.
As a mother myself, I remember how tough it was for me in those first few weeks and months. Many days, the most I ate were nuts and granola bars.
Let's help Donna and Bill eat warm meals and take care of the additional expenses that come with a funeral.
